Does the skin need extra cleansing? We use cosmetic clay

In summer, the skin of the face and body needs more thorough cleansing. Dust and heat do their “dirty deed”. The pores become clogged and the skin glitters ugly. Cosmetic clay will help tidy up the face, as it has excellent absorbent properties. And not only: clay has many advantages, and in the summer it is an indispensable tool for additional cleansing of the skin, especially oily.
Clay mattifies the skin, smoothes and tightens it. With regular use of masks made of clay improves skin texture. Everything else, clay has some lifting effect, thereby preventing the appearance of wrinkles and increasing skin elasticity. If the skin is dry, then clay masks should not be abused, as any clay dries the skin. Clay can be white, and pink, and green, and black, and a lot more. It is believed that each color of clay has its own properties. Pink and white are suitable for dry skin, green and blue for oily skin, black and red are best for body skin. You need to try and look for “their”. You can buy cosmetic clay in any pharmacy or store where there are departments with caring cosmetics. The packages usually indicate for which skin type this clay is recommended. Face masks are the most common way to use clay in home cosmetology. Dilute the powder with warm water to a thick cream and apply on the massage lines to a clean, dry face, avoiding the area around the eyes. This is the easiest option. But you can make facial masks even more useful by adding different ingredients to your skin type. Clay, for example, it is better to dilute the infusion of herbs. This can be any herb or flowers with the properties you need (chamomile, sage, mint, calendula, parsley, rose petals, and many others.).
You can add plant extracts to the clay mask. Just a few drops, as extracts are highly concentrated products. Why not add algae extract to strengthen the skin? Or an extract of celandine (with a celandine gently – the grass is not harmless!) For even deeper cleansing? You can add ready-made floral water – hydrolat, if you do not want to mess around and brew the grass itself. Hydrolates are sold in pharmacies and stores (as well as extracts) for soap makers. This is the real “flower moisture” of a particular plant. Simply put, rose hydrolat — rose water, lavender hydrolat — lavender water, chamomile hydrolat — chamomile water, etc. By adding, for example, lavender hydrolate to a clay mask, a person will receive not only cleansing, tightening and compaction, but also soothing Effect. And after the clay masks, there can really be a slight irritation / redness on the skin that needs to be removed with something soothing. It is necessary to wash off the clay mask immediately after it dries on the skin. And you can not wait for the final drying (especially with dry skin). First moisten the face with water, then gently rinse without stretching the skin. Blot (do not wipe, namely blot) dry with a soft towel. Soothe the skin after the mask, if required, will help all the same grass (infusion), ready-made floral water or ice cube. On the same day it is good to put light cream on the face. As I said, clay skin dries.
Masks of clay can be made not only for facial care, but also for the body. In the summer we wear a minimum of clothes, and of course, do not want to be ashamed of any flaws. Especially, if they can be eliminated. Such procedures can not only make the skin cleaner, but also increase its elasticity. And also to “tighten” the contours of the body: the clay helps to fight stretch marks well. You can add natural berries / fruit / vegetable juices to the clay mask. This mass can be used as a mask and as a scrub. And for the face fit, and for the body. But in summer, scrubs are not recommended too often. Scrubbing particles remove the dead layer of the epidermis, exposing healthy, but vulnerable skin to the aggressive summer sun. Mask of clay can be used for hair. In this case, you can add base oils (cocoa, coconut, peach, burdock, etc.). Apply the mixture on the scalp, cover with a shower cap, then wrap the head with a dry towel. Do not want to waste time? Make a scrub for the scalp. All the same mass massage the skin between the strands of hair, thoroughly rinse with water and wash with shampoo. You may need to wash your hair twice. After such use of clay, the overall condition of the hair improves, it becomes stronger, thicker and grows better. Clay can be added to homemade soap – get a mild soap scrub. There was a slight irritation on the skin, as it often happens in summer, from perfume, synthetic clothing? Apply to the irritated place a mask of clay – the irritation will pass.
Do not add clay to egg white if you do not want to cement your face. When washing off, cause more harm than the benefits of the mask itself.
