How is chocolate used in cosmetology? Masks, wraps and baths

Chocolate is not only a tasty delicacy, but also a very useful cosmetic component that has irreplaceable properties for our beauty and youth. It is a source of fast carbohydrates, which leads to almost instant recovery of strength, contains serotonin, which improves mood, and it is also widely used in cosmetology. evgeny varlamov, Shutterstock I want to introduce you to some useful chocolate masks that we ourselves can prepare at home for face and body skin care. It is worth noting that chocolate masks are first of all lifting masks, regenerating masks, masks that are very effective for problem, fading and dry skin. 1 mask: 50 grams of chocolate (70−85% cocoa) must be melted in a water bath or slow fire, stirring constantly. Then add a tablespoon of olive, grape, almond peach or linseed oil. Mix thoroughly and apply to well-cleansed face, neck and decollete skin. Apply with a brush along the massage lines from the chin to the forehead from the bottom up and hold such a mask for 15−20 minutes. Then wash off with warm water. 2 mask: 50 grams of chocolate (70−85% cocoa), as in the previous case, melt in a water bath or slow fire, but in this case we add one teaspoon of almond oil and one teaspoon of black currant seed oil. Thoroughly mixing, add a drop of rose essential oil and apply using the same technology. You can keep this mask for half an hour. Wash off with warm water. 3 mask: 50 grams of chocolate (70−85% cocoa) must be melted in a water bath or low heat, stirring constantly, and add warm liquid honey. We also apply the brush from the chin to the forehead from the bottom up and leave for 15−20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. 4 mask: 50 grams of chocolate (70−85% cocoa) must be melted in a water bath or low heat, stirring constantly, and add orange, banana, peach, apricot, apple, melon, pear or even berries, ground in a blender. As a rule, 2–3 tablespoons of any of the ingredients will suffice. Keep, as in previous cases, such masks should be no more than 20 minutes. Chocolate masks perfectly nourish the skin, saturate it with vitamins, moisturize and tighten. Making them 1-2 times a week, you can even give your skin a light, tanned, bronze tint. Another remarkable quality of chocolate in cosmetology is that it visibly reduces the appearance of pigment spots and prevents their appearance, dries inflammation and refreshes the skin. I can also recommend such masks as a means to care for your hands, they perfectly moisturize them. Chocolate body wraps For 500 ml of hot water, you need about 200 grams of cocoa powder. Dissolve the powder and cool to 35−40 ° C. Spread the mixture onto the problem areas of the body in a uniform layer 2–3 mm thick and wrap with cling film for a more effective result. I recommend to keep the chocolate for at least 30−40 minutes, then rinse with warm water. It is enough to carry out this procedure 2–3 times a week at least 7–8 times. For best results, add a tablespoon of cinnamon powder – it accelerates the breakdown of fats and warms up perfectly. What gives us chocolate wrapping? I think the results will please you. Firstly, I note that this procedure today is among the first effective procedures in the fight against cellulite. Chocolate contains about 40% caffeine, which speeds up the process of lipolysis – the breakdown of fats,  deal with the problem of excess weight. Secondly, chocolate in cosmetology acts as a powerful antioxidant that prevents the appearance of free radicals in the body and helps fight aging. Chocolate Baths A classic chocolate bath is easy enough. 200 grams of cocoa powder pour a liter of boiling water, mix thoroughly and add to the bathroom under a stream of water.
